5 of 5 Key Hermeneutical and Exegetical Download March 27, 2012
Reviewer: Rhonda Tantalo from Signal Mountain, TN United States
The teaching material in this download was very helpful in that it gives important resources and step by step instruction and example.  It saves time since the teacher, John, has reviewed the material and gives genuine opinion of its usefulness.  The teacher makes himself available very readily with assistance for problems.  Very grateful.  I rate it excellent.

5 of 5 Don't tell my Biblical principles professor, but.. March 27, 2012
Reviewer: Donald Randolph from Scottsdale, AZ United States
In the two hours of this video, John covered more material and in a manner far more understandable, than my professor at seminary has in the two months he has had to do it.  I am not discrediting him, but feel that the way in which the subject is dealt with in this video is substantially more understandable and "user friendly" than a formal classroom can provide.  If you want to know how to read your Bible, this is the video for you.

5 of 5 very Helpful March 21, 2012
Reviewer: Leigh Johnson from RI
I found the webinar on Hermeneutics and Exegesis very helpful for the following reasons:

It gave a more detailed process for interpreting Scripture than I usually use,

It showed me how to use Logos resources to simplify this process and get the most benefit out of less time spent,

It identified specific resources which are valuable in understanding the grammatical and other issues.

5 of 5 Webinar is Excellent March 21, 2012
Reviewer: Ellen Habeeck from WI
Several mountains loom before those who want to rightly handle God's Word. This webinar is an excellent guide to scaling two of those mountains:

(1) How to find answers to interpretive challenges from among the many resources available
(2) How to gain the summit of understanding what the biblical authors meant by what they wrote.

Sound hermeneutics and exegesis are lifelines in this age of information overload and biblical illiteracy.

Thank you, John, for pastoring pastors, equipping scholars and encouraging students of God's Word, that God's Word as God intended might come alive for many!
