Webinar 04 Preparing Sermons June 26, 2017 Reviewer: Ricky Shaffer from Sun City West, AZ United States   John, I learned a lot and I am comfortable with the material. The webinar was well thought out, and presented at a pace that even beginners can follow. I would like to thank you for all the time and energy you put into the webinars and videos. You always provide concise and detailed information, yet manage to present it in a manner that is easy to follow and understand. I rarely do product reviews but in this case I feel compelled to do so. It is obvious that the Lord is using you to provide valuable information to the Church. I cannot recommend you highly enough; you truly are following God's plan. Keep up the great work. Sermon Prep December 18, 2013 Reviewer: Steve Jones from Rustburg, VA United States   Preparing Sermons 04 was an insightful help to using the tools in Logos that most people will not touch. It is somewhat advanced as John Fallahee uses the original languages, yet is elementary in the teaching, which is good. Fallahee goes through a passage and breaks it down according to the way that either opentex.org or Andersen-Forbes lays out the text with its main points and not so main points in order to develop your own outline in both the Old and New Testaments. The two passages chosen were simplistic. The chunking idea was helpful in my own sermon prep because it helped clear up the muddy mess one might have with a twenty point sermon. He shows you how to break a passage down into just a few ideas. I would encourage anyone who is serious about Bible study, leading a Sunday School class, or even preach sermons that are faithful to the text to get this video as it will prove to be beneficial for a lifetime.
